Creator Brief — Reference Campaign
Welcome to Number Artist

Three things.
One great campaign.

Thank you for joining this Number Artist creator campaign. This brief covers exactly what we need from you — two videos and one photo — plus the usage and whitelisting details. Please read it fully before you start filming.

Number Artist makes paint-by-numbers kits for the whole family — full-size kits for adults, mini kits for kids. Your content is how people discover us.

🎥

You must appear on camera in every video. Show your face and yourself actively painting and/or holding the finished result. Videos without the creator visible will be sent back for reshoot.

What We Need

2 videos + 1 photo.
Plus raw content.

Three deliverables, each with a clear purpose. One is a direct recreation of a reference video — same angles, same lighting, same scenes. The second is yours to concept. The third is a simple photo.

Video 1
Vertical · 9:16

Duplicate the Reference

Recreate the reference video exactly — same angles, same lighting setup, same scene order, same framing. Literally everything. The video link and shot-by-shot breakdown are in the next section.

Video 2
Vertical · 9:16

Your Own Concept

This one is yours. Your angle, your style, your story. The only requirement: it must include the finished painting in the final shot. Show the result.

You + Finished Painting

One clean photo of you holding your finished painting. Good light, clear framing, you and the canvas both visible. Simple and powerful.

Video 1 — Duplicate the Reference

Copy it exactly.
Every scene.

This video needs to be a direct recreation of the reference. Same angles. Same lighting. Same scenes in the same order. Watch it multiple times and match it as closely as possible — that is the brief for this deliverable.

Reference Video

Watch this — then shoot the same thing.

Study this video carefully before you film. Pay attention to: how the shot starts, the camera distance at each moment, the light direction, where the creator is positioned, the pace of each cut, and how the finished painting is revealed.

What to match — shot by shot

  • 1 Match the opening scene exactly — same framing, same distance from camera, same lighting setup
  • 2 Match every camera angle used in the video — wide shots, close-ups, overhead — in the same order
  • 3 Match the lighting: natural, bright, same direction. If the reference uses window light on one side, do the same
  • 4 Match the scene transitions — the pace of movement from one clip to the next
  • 5 Match the reveal — how and when the finished painting appears on screen
  • 6 Match the overall mood and energy — calm, aesthetic, satisfying
📌

This is a recreation, not an interpretation. The goal is to produce a video that looks like the same content, shot by a different person in a different space. Loose inspiration is not enough — match the reference as closely as possible.

💡

Watch the reference video at least 3 times before filming. Screenshot the key frames. Take notes on each scene. The more prepared you are, the closer your version will match — and the faster it gets approved.

You are not copying the caption or audio. You are copying the visual language: framing, lighting, camera movement, scene order. Add your own voiceover and keep the music similar in style to the reference — no text overlays.

Video 2 — Your Own Concept

Your idea.
Your angle.

This video is yours to own. Your concept, your style, your story. The only hard requirement is that the finished painting appears in the video. How you get there is up to you.

Requirements

  • The finished painting must appear clearly — ideally in the final shot
  • You must be on camera — show your face, your hands, your process
  • Vertical format, 9:16
  • Good light — bright and natural, not dim or yellow
  • 1080p minimum, 4K preferred

Ideas to get you started

Not sure what concept to go with? A few directions that tend to perform well:

01

Time-lapse from blank to finished

Start with the blank canvas and show the full transformation. Satisfying, visual, shareable.

02

Voiceover story

Walk the viewer through your experience — why you tried it, what the process felt like, and the result.

03

Painting in your space

Show the kit and the process in your real home environment. Authentic and relatable.

04

Gift or activity angle

Frame it as a gift, a weekend activity, or something you did with someone you love.

Photo

You + your finished
painting.

One photo. Simple brief: you holding the finished painting. Both you and the canvas should be clearly visible. This photo will be used across our ads and product pages.

Requirements

  • You must be holding the painting — not placed on a shelf or easel
  • Both your face and the full canvas visible in the frame
  • Bright, natural light — near a window is ideal
  • Clean or neutral background — no clutter
  • High resolution — minimum 1200px on the short side
📸

Take several options. Shoot from multiple angles and distances — close, medium, slightly stepped back. We'll select the version that works best for ads. More options = faster approval.

Partnership Ad Request

Collab post
approval.

Once you post your content, we will send you a partnership ad request through Instagram. This allows us to run your content as a paid collab ad from your handle — meaning the ad shows your name and reaches a wider audience.

What to expect

  • After you post, we will send you a "Partnership ad request" notification on Instagram
  • Go to your post settings and approve the request — takes under one minute
  • You keep full ownership of your post — nothing about it changes
  • This helps both sides: your post gets more reach, we get more performance data

Please approve the request within 24 hours. We run time-sensitive ad campaigns and delays impact performance. If you have any questions about the collab post feature, message us on Insense and we'll walk you through it.

Whitelisting

180 days of
paid reach.

We spend a significant budget on paid ads — which means your profile gets in front of a much larger audience than your organic reach alone. Whitelisting is included at no extra cost and is a genuine benefit to your account's growth.

What this means for you

  • We run paid ads from your Facebook presence for 180 days — this includes your content and may include ours too
  • We spend a lot on ads — which means your profile will potentially grow from the exposure
  • Your page stays yours — you keep full ownership of your content and account at all times
  • You retain full control and can revoke access at any time
  • No additional cost to you — whitelisting is included with this campaign
⚙️

Setup takes about 5 minutes. We'll send you a link with step-by-step instructions. You'll need to send us two things:

  • 01 The email address linked to your Facebook account
  • 02 Your Business Portfolio ID from Meta Business Suite

Then we send you a partnership request — you approve in one click, and we handle everything from there.

Raw Content

Upload everything
unedited.

Along with your final edited videos, please upload all of your raw clips — everything you filmed, including footage that didn't make the cut. Our editing team uses the raw content to create additional ad variations.

What to include

  • All raw footage from both video shoots — every clip, including unused takes
  • Your original photo files (full resolution, unedited)
  • Any extra angles or scenes you filmed but didn't use
  • Uncompressed files — do not re-export or compress before uploading
📁

Upload to the Google Drive folder we provide. Your final edited videos can also be submitted through Insense. The Google Drive folder is for all raw clips and originals. You will receive the folder link directly from us before your shoot date.

Quality Standards

What we want.
What we don't.

These rules apply to both videos. Content that doesn't meet these standards will be sent back for revision.

Do this
  • Match the reference video exactly for Video 1 — every angle, every scene
  • Be on camera — actively painting, holding the kit, showing the result
  • Film in bright, natural light near a window
  • Show the finished painting clearly at the end
  • Capture close-ups of your brush, the paint, the canvas detail
  • Film multiple takes — give us options
  • Upload all raw footage uncompressed
  • Approve the collab post request within 24 hours
Not this
  • Interpret the reference loosely — match it literally
  • Skip the painting process and cut straight to the reveal
  • Film in dim, yellow, or artificial light
  • Leave the background cluttered or distracting
  • Use digital zoom for close-ups
  • Submit without watching your video back first
  • Compress raw files before uploading
  • Delay approving the partnership ad request
